At home I use a Bodum stovetop espresso maker. It makes really good espresso and costs around twenty dollars. It's your cheapest option for good espresso. (I bought mine from the company at 1-800-23-BODUM. You might be able to get it cheaper online.)
You can buy an electric milk steamer if you want to make a Latte' or Cappachino. I bought a home espresso machine for five dollars at a yard sale. It doesn't make very good espresso, but steams milk good enough.

Lately I've been ordering from Cafe D'arte. Their "Taormina Southern Italian Blend" and "Parioli Central Italian Blend" espresso also makes an excellent dark roast coffee. My sales rep is Adalberto Juarez. He was friendly, efficient and didn't try to hurry me off the phone. He answered all of my questions and recommended the right products. Outstanding customer service is rare enough that I feel I should compliment it when I find it.
