I eat lunch with a group of friends every Saturday. We went to Sakura most every week until they raised their prices a couple months ago. We now go there once a month. This week we tried Italian Village on a recommendation from another friend. I'm glad we did.
The service was outstanding. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. Russel ordered the calzone, and an appetizer combo to share. He let me try a piece of the calzone. It was as good as any place around here, besides Pizza and Subs. I think that I'll order one next time we eat here.
I was thinking about ordering the burger, but they charge a quarter for lettuce and tomato. (I can afford an extra quarter. I just find the idea a little irritating. It was $3.99 or $4.99, but they still charge extra for lettuce.) I ended up ordering the 9 inch cheese pizza, with extra cheddar on half. I was quite happy with it. I was planning on taking half home for later, but it never made it home.

Tim's Corner is right across the street. I usually end up there when I'm in the neighborhood. I think that it's the best comic book store in town. I try to patronize local small businesses whenever possible. [map]
